About Tea J Tea

Tea J Tea is here to create tea experiences in a box! Yes, we are a tea company that delivers premium teas and pastries from around the world as a monthly tea subscription service.
We want to take you on a wholesome tea journey. Thus, we pack the finest teas within our boxes under three main niches. Along with these teas, you get paired pastries, which are mouthwatering, & never-ending tea education!

WHAT'S INSIDE MY BOXES?

  • Inside these boxes, you will get a taste of deliciousness, health, wellness, and education! 
  • Our teas: We offer three signature teas: Origins, Fruity or Floral & Explorer. Each tea has a unique personality regarding infusion, flavor, and aroma. The diversity within the tea choices provides a rich tea experience that changes from month to month. Depending on your mood, you can choose which tea you want to enjoy first.

  • Our pastries: We offer four different types of pastries, two of which will pair with the Origins line & two with the Fruity or Floral line. We’ve created these pairings through extensive research on taste profiles.  We hope you enjoy them as much as we do. 

  • What else?: Each box contains a few saltine crackers to clear your palate between each tea pairing experience. This helps you enjoy the teas' nuanced flavors throughout your tasting experience. Additionally, as a tea lover, you get the privilege of learning about the teas as a part of our tea education policy. You can instantly get linked to all the information about the tea through the QR code printed in our monthly subscription boxes.  

HOW DO YOU DIFFER FROM OTHER TEA SUBSCRIPTIONS? 

  • Glad you asked! Our specialty comes with the expertise in tea flavor profiles and quality we follow when sourcing our teas. Additionally, we specifically pair our pastries to match each of these teas. Thus, you don't need to worry about finding what tea tastes good with what pastry. Just leave that part to us. Together our teas and pastries make a complete tea experience and will be delivered straight to you, so you only have to enjoy this experience that we provide!

CAN I BUY A PAST TEA TIME IN A BOX? 

  • You surely can if we have any remaining boxes from the past months. Reach us via support@teajtea.com and let us know your requirements. We might need a little time to check our inventory and will be back with you soon with an update. 

WHERE CAN I FIND ALLERGY INFORMATION? 

  • Tea Time In a Box from Tea J tea is mainly a combination of many different teas and matching pastries. This means our core product would be teas & tisanes, which are generally considered safe to consume. However, if you have had any allergy history to any type of tea, reach us before you buy/subscribe to our products. 

  • Apart from tea, we pack pastries within these boxes. These pastry combinations will change each month and could contain ingredients like soybeans, wheat, milk, peanuts, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, and tree nuts. If you are allergic to any of these, please use caution when consuming any of our pastries. 

WHERE DO YOU PROVIDE INFORMATION ON EACH TEA?

  • Very important question! See the little QR code printed on your box & scan it when you need to explore more about the teas you sip. This code will take you to our website, where you will learn about these teas.

CAN I CUSTOMIZE MY TEA TIME IN THE BOX?

  • Sorry, this option is unavailable now due to our tea inventory. 

SOME OF THE TEAS/SNACKS IN MY BOX ARE EXPIRED.

  • All our teas and snacks are freshly sourced and packed to ensure quality. However, contact us immediately via support@teajtea.com, and we will address the issue. Please also include images of the expired product and enable us time to look into the situation.

CAN I GIFT TEA TIME IN A BOX?

  • Absolutely! Sharing this tea experience is one of our missions. There are two ways you could do this.
  • Buy a Gift card and share it with the receiver in an instant (Buy a Gift Card
  • Click the “Send as a gift” option on the product page.

Managing Subscriptions

I NEED TO CHANGE MY SUBSCRIPTION.

  • Yes, you can change your subscription as required. However, please make sure to do this before your regular subscription renewal. All these subscriptions have been arranged to renew automatically. Therefore, please send us your updated subscription information via support@teajtea.com
  • Here’s how to change your subscription plan,
  • Log into your account (Here)
  • Select the “My Subscription” option 
  • Select the new subscription plan that you wish to enrol 

I NEED TO CHANGE MY SHIPPING INFORMATION. 

  • Yes, you can certainly update your shipping address. However, please make sure to do this before your regular subscription renewal. All these subscriptions have been arranged to renew automatically. Therefore, please send us your updated shipping information as well via support@teajtea.com
  • Here’s how to change your shipping address,
  • Log into your account (Here)
  • Select your current subscription details & click on “Address and Shipping information” 
  • Select your shipping address, select "edit", & add your new shipping address
  • Hit “Save”

HOW CAN I CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION?

  • We are sad to let you go! But you certainly can cancel your subscription. Please ensure you cancel before your regular subscription renewal since all subscriptions have been arranged to renew automatically.

  • Click “Cancel Subscription” button 

CAN I HOLD THIS SERVICE FOR A WHILE? 

  • Tell us more about this! Contact us via support@teajtea.com and brief us on your requirements. Most of our services are automated, so some functions are beyond our control. However, please let us know.

Shipping

WHEN WILL YOU SHIP MY ORDER?

  • We ship on the 5th of each month if you order before the 16th of the previous month, and this will allow us time to procure the freshest tea and pastry for your orders. 
  • For example: An order is placed between October 16th- November 15th. The first shipment this user receives will be shipped by the 5th of December, and items will arrive before the 20th of December. 
  • Order is placed after November 16th but before December 15th. The first shipment this user receives will be shipped by the 5th of January and items will arrive before the 20th of January. 

HOW CAN I KNOW MY SHIPPING COST?

  • US domestic shipping is calculated monthly and will be charged to the account on file based on the subscription the user enrolls to.  International shipments are not available at this time. 

WHO ARE YOUR SHIPPING SERVICE PROVIDERS?

  • Our carriers include UPS, USPS, DHL, and FedEx. 

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO REACH ME?

  • Only US domestic shipments are available now, and the orders will be delivered within 2 to 10 days.

Tracking

HOW CAN I TRACK MY PACKAGE? 
  • Every order is trackable, and you can track it via the tracking number sent to your email after checkout. Please provide an active and accurate email address to receive this service during checkout.

MY PACKAGE SEEMS LOST. WHAT CAN I DO? 

  • Please contact us immediately via support@teajtea.com if you suspect your package is lost to enable us to look into the issue.

Billing & Refunds

WHEN DO I GET BILLED FOR SUBSCRIPTIONS?
  • For your first subscription, you will get billed as you complete the checkout. Depending on your subscription plan, your subscription will renew on the same date after 3, 6, or 12month periods.

BRIEF ME ON THE REFUND POLICY 

  • We deliver gourmet teas and pastries, which might sometimes not meet your sensory expectations. However, once the purchasing is done, the goods are not refundable and can not be returned. 
  • If you are continuously unhappy with the products you receive, we recommend you deactivate the subscription plan to avoid shipping future boxes. Subscription renewals are non-refundable, so deactivate your subscription before the renewal date. 
  • For any other concerns related to your order or refund policy, please contact us via support@teajtea.com, and our team would be happy to help.

HOW TO REDEEM A GIFT CARD?
  • This is as simple as any other coupon redemption. Enter your gift card code in the space we have allocated for “discount code/gift card” as you checkout after ordering.

CAN I USE IT FOR MY SUBSCRIPTION?

  • Yes! These gift cards are valid for purchasing any product/subscription plan listed on this site. 

HOW CAN I CHECK THE BALANCE OF MY GIFT CARD? 

  • Click on “Earn Rewards” at the bottom right of your screen. Select “MY REWARDS.” 

I LOST MY GIFT CARD INFORMATION.
